In my work as a lecturer, consultant, and coach, I meet people from the widest variety of cultures and contexts every day. What drives me is the conviction that genuine understanding is possible – even across differences that may seem unbridgeable.

What matters to me

Practical and grounded in current research: My approaches are scientifically sound, but always designed so you can apply them directly in your everyday life. Theory without practical value doesn't move anyone forward.

As whole people: You are more than your professional role or cultural background. In our work together, I see you with all your experiences, strengths, and challenges – because that's the only way lasting change happens.

Encouraging: Conflicts and misunderstandings are part of being human together. Rather than viewing them as problems, I see them as opportunities for growth and deeper connection.

My path

As a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland, I teach intercultural communication, corporate communication, and conflict transformation. At the same time, I work as a consultant and share my knowledge as a guest lecturer at various universities on topics such as health and culture, as well as spiritual wellbeing in culturally diverse contexts.

My international experience – more than 15 years as a leadership and development consultant across Europe, Asia, and Africa, as well as Secretary General of an international health organization – continues to shape my work today. Since 2012, I've focused on helping organizations and individuals strengthen their intercultural and communication competencies.

I work especially closely with Swiss police forces, government administrations, and nonprofit institutions. These experiences have shown me how important it is to stay human and build bridges, even in challenging situations.

My qualifications

My most valuable qualifications come from a life of constant learning. My postgraduate studies in Conflict Analysis and Resolution at the University of Basel, together with my training as an Executive and Business Coach at Ashridge Business School in the UK, form the professional foundation of my work.

Personal

Having grown up in Papua New Guinea, I now live in Switzerland, spending several months each year in Southeast Asia. This life lived between worlds has taught me that diversity isn't just enriching – it's often the key to creative solutions.
